Chinmaya BalaVihar was started in the Spring of 2001. Since its inception it has grown to around 45 children. Classes are conducted every Sunday from 10:00 am to noon at the IRC Center. Children learn about moral and cultural values thru games, crafts and other creative, fun-filled activities. Chanting of slokas and verses from the Bhagavad Gita gives them a feel for the religious aspects of the Hindu culture. All children ages 3 thru 18 are welcome to take part in the BalaVihar activities.
